Illuminating. Bright. Ablaze.

Your sole purpose is to light up this world and give us the power

To see the beauty that lurks behind the darkness.

But I have to ask,

Are you blinding yourself?

Sacrificing your power to see so that we can experience the beauty you don’t.

Or how does it feel Being the most crucial part of any room

Of any museum

Of any exhibition, but we never give you any credit.

We deem you as average, normal, and mundane.

But you have such amazing power:

You impact how we perceive art.

You set the mood and tone of any stage.

You play such a huge role and yet no one seems to care.

Without you,

We cannot see.

There is no art without sight,

And no art without light.
